Photo dump: Soaking up the coastal goodness of Nha Trang

Leaving the smoggy city of Saigon behind, we decided to break up the lengthy journey North by stopping on the coast at Nha Trang. We heard it was a resort town that could be pretty much any beach side escape in the world; but what we discovered was the cleanest Asian beach we’ve seen this trip. An idyllic family atmosphere that seems to be the ideal place to  watch the locals enjoying all their favourite past times; football, beach volleyball, cycling, board games and fishing.

We weren’t blessed with sunny weather but we made the most of the excessive restaurant choices for a couple of days before jumping back on an overnight bus. There’s a stand out restaurant called Lanterns that supports a local orphanage with their profits, as well as providing free food to disadvantaged locals on Mondays. Definitely worth a stop to eat tasty tasty food and help feed the community at the same time!

Nha Trang is also THE place for diving in Vietnam and we’ve only heard good things. k&a
