Photo dump: Floating amongst the watery places of Kampot

We’ve been staying water side in the sleepy town of Kampot for the past few days. Most of the area revolves around the breezy river; for transport, fishing and swimming. We took a lazy boat ride to watch the daily life of industrious rice and banana farmers, wave at local families and explore the beautiful palm areas at sunset.

There is a lot to explore in this rural province of Southern Cambodia; another day Andres took a hike to swim in the waterfalls of the surrounding green mountains as I cycled along the dusty village roads through the pepper plantations. It’s the kind of place where you can do nothing for just a little bit longer. Kris
