Squeezing the most out of life | An Aussie and a Colombian living life with a wandering spirit. Eight years together & over 60 countries up our sleeves, we're sharing the love |

Poking around our Brissie backyard

Bardon Brew

While my folks have been staying with us in Brisbane I’ve had the perfect excuse to revisit some of my favourite places. It’s been two years since their last pop in and I recognise more than ever the family traits I hope to inherit – most of all my parents shared curiosity for life and a willingness to try almost anything once. When we get together this attitude always feels intensified, each of us keen to get out and about, take in as much culture, nature, food and general exploring as possible – but at a chilled pace.

We cafe hopped, cooked, drank, played bowls, took in some history, a whole lot of art and a local night noodle market, reminding me how lucky we are to live in such an evolving city.

Here are some snaps, mostly for my lovely parents xx
