Photodump: Historic Sydney

Sunrise from the roof of our Hostel in The Rocks

Visiting my home town of Sydney and staying as a tourist in The Rocks gave me a renewed pleasure for the place. Cobblestone streets, old brick lane-ways and more than enough sandstone pubs to while away a Sunday; it’s an area that makes you feel that Australia’s colonial history might reach further back than a mere 226 years.

We also happened to be there during the Saint Patricks Day celebrations, adding to the general ruckus and beer swilling vibe! The Hero of Waterloo being our new Sydney favourite.

I wanted to share a little of the texture, the ruddy palette and the charm of the inner city – so here’s a taste… Kris
